The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has recognized Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia as the “Leading Partner Bank in Mongolia.”

This prestigious award reflects the successful outcomes of numerous joint projects and initiatives over the past five years, as well as TDB’s significant contributions to enhancing Mongolia’s foreign trade.

The Global Banking & Finance Review Awards from the United Kingdom have honored Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia with the title of “Best Commercial Bank in Mongolia” for the fourth consecutive year since 2012. This prestigious award is based on comprehensive research and analysis of commercial banks, recognizing institutions that demonstrate exceptional performance and leadership within the industry.

The “Annual Meeting of the New Champions”, widely known as “Summer Davos,” organized by the World Economic Forum, took place in Dalian, China, from September 9 to 11. This prestigious event brought together over 1,500 representatives from government, business, and media across more than 90 countries. With 160 sessions, discussions focused on innovation, scientific and technological advancements, their impact on economic growth, and strategies to address emerging challenges.

At the forum, the World Economic Forum recognized the highest-growing companies worldwide, and Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia was named a “Global Growth Company,” becoming the first Mongolian entity to receive this prestigious recognition.

This award honors companies that make significant contributions to the global economy and promote sustainable economic growth within their respective countries. Selection criteria include a company’s business model, profitability, market position, and leadership capabilities. In 2015, a total of 132 high-growth, dynamic companies were selected globally.

The annual Euromoney Awards for Excellence Asia 2015, which recognizes the top performers in Asia’s banking and financial sector, was successfully held for the 24th time.

At the event, Euromoney magazine recognized Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia as the country’s leading bank, highlighting its position as the most outstanding commercial and corporate bank. The recognition came from experienced international bankers who praised TDB for its exceptional achievements. Notable accomplishments include the successful issuance of a $500 million bond, the introduction of modern and innovative products and services, and consistent profitability growth. TDB has maintained its reputation as a reliable lender to both domestic and international companies while also launching insurance brokerage services.

In recognition of these achievements, TDB was honored with the prestigious title of “Best Bank of Mongolia.” As of today, TDB’s total assets have reached MNT 5.88 trillion, representing 26.9% of the market, while its equity capital stands at MNT 720.24 billion, accounting for 30.9% of the market share.
