France’s National Day is a special occasion celebrated by French citizens around the world, honoring the core values of the Republic—liberty, equality, and fraternity. For the Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia (TDB), representing the Mongolian banking sector on the international stage, participating in this event was a matter of great pride. The celebration also reflected the deepening relations between Mongolia and France, particularly in the areas of finance, trade, and cultural cooperation.
TDB has maintained a long-standing and fruitful partnership with French financial institutions. Notably, the bank has been working effectively with Natixis, one of France’s leading banks, in the field of international payments. Currently, TDB independently handles approximately 40% of all transactions between Mongolia and France, reinforcing its leadership position in the sector.
In October 2024, TDB signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bpifrance, the French public investment bank, marking the beginning of a collaborative relationship. Through this partnership, TDB is actively working to enhance products and services tailored to its Mongolian clients.
Looking ahead, TDB remains committed to facilitating trade and financial transactions between Mongolia and France, supporting entrepreneurs from both countries, and delivering inclusive financial solutions.
