Since 2024, Trade and Development Bank in cooperation with the German Development Cooperation, has been implementing the “Supporting Sustainable Financing for SMEs” (SFME) project in Mongolia. The goal is to empower small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and improve their access to sustainable financing.
As part of this project, TDB organized the “SME Empowerment Program – 2025” training to support entrepreneurs. Today, the participants who completed the training received their certificates (2025.06.27).

This year’s program ran for three months, from March 25 to June 21. During the training, entrepreneurs were divided into three groups and received professional training and consulting services in the areas of finance, sales, negotiation skills, legal knowledge, and brand development.

The main objective of this training was to equip SME owners with the knowledge and skills necessary to:
Solving financial challenges
Increase competitiveness in the market
Improve negotiation skills
Understand the legal environment
Enhance brand value

The training was conducted using a practical, participatory approach, enabling graduates to immediately apply what they learned to their businesses.
TDB will continue to finance SMEs, empower its clients, and expand the SME segment in the market by supporting business growth.
