TRADE AND DEVELOPMENT BANK IS FULLY COMPLIANT WITH THE INTERNATIONAL PAYMENT CARD INDUSTRY DATA SECURITY STANDARD FOR THE 8TH YEAR

6 January 2025

Trade and Development Bank successfully implemented the updated version 4.0 of the international PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) for payment card data security in 2024, fully complying with the standard for the 8th year and receiving approval from the Qualified Security Assessor (QSA).

This standard was first adopted in 2006 by five leading global organizations, including American Express, Discover Financial Services, JCB International, MasterCard Worldwide, and Visa, to ensure, protect, and improve the security of payment card customer data.

Trade and Development Bank first introduced the standard in 2017. This time, by introducing the updated 4.0 version, we are working by international standards by strictly protecting the confidentiality of payment card information of our customers and partners, which is the core of our business, and preventing its unauthorized modification, destruction, or disclosure. We also work by international standards by creating a security environment for information security management, policies, operations, infrastructure organization, and software development. We are also pleased to announce that we have established a process to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions made with payment cards within the scope of meeting the PCI DSS, reducing this type of risk. We work by international standards to protect your payment card and financial transactions reliably.
