TDB Sponsors “Field Work in Mongolia” Seminar at Chuo University, Japan

6 August 2019

On November 27, 2018, the Trade and Development Bank’s (TDB) Japan Representative Office signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Chuo University, one of Japan’s oldest and most prestigious universities. Under this agreement, starting in 2019, a new 2-credit course titled “Field Work in Mongolia” will be offered under TDB’s sponsorship at Chuo University.

This course aims to promote Mongolia, attract Japanese investment, and support the development of national industries and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Founded in 1885, Chuo University is ranked 53rd among Japan’s 768 universities. It is well-known for its graduate programs, which attract mid-level managers and professionals from various organizations.

In addition, the TDB Representative Office in Japan actively supports the university’s graduate students conducting research in Mongolia. On August 5, 2019, a business seminar titled “The Business Environment in Mongolia” was successfully organized.

The seminar provided in-depth discussions about Mongolia’s business environment, delivering valuable insights and information to Japanese companies and investors interested in expanding their businesses in Mongolia. It concluded as a productive platform for sharing knowledge on Mongolia’s economy and business opportunities.

Through initiatives like these, TDB continues to foster closer economic and educational ties between Mongolia and Japan, paving the way for mutual growth and collaboration.
