TDB Joins Efforts to Support People with Disabilities

6 September 2019

In alignment with its corporate social responsibility, TDB has signed a three-year memorandum of understanding with Achilles Mongolia, an international organization dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities. The partnership aims to amplify the voices and contributions of people with disabilities in society.

Since 2015, Achilles Mongolia has been organizing the “Hope and Possibility” marathon, a nationwide event designed to inspire and empower individuals with disabilities by fostering self-confidence and strength. TDB employees have actively participated in the marathon, and the bank has now taken on the role of Lead Sponsor for the event.

In Mongolia, over 160,000 individuals live with disabilities, but only less than 30% are actively engaged in education or employment. Achilles Mongolia focuses on promoting physical activity, improving personal skills, and creating inclusive opportunities for people with disabilities.

This year’s charity marathon will take place on September 14, from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, at the National Garden Park. TDB employees will continue to volunteer and support this meaningful initiative, contributing to a more inclusive and empowered society.
