Today, the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Forum 2018 was successfully held in the Soyombo Hall of the Tuushin Hotel, marking the 5th anniversary of the implementation of the Sustainable Finance Program (ToC) in Mongolia. The forum was themed “Expanding ToC Beyond the Banking Sector” and featured discussions and presentations on the following topics:
- Five Years of Collaboration: The Past and Future of ToC
A review of the achievements of ToC over the past five years and its vision for the future. - Green Banking and Finance:
Insights into how commercial banks in Mongolia have positively impacted the environment and climate by financing green loans under the Sustainable Finance Program over the past five years. - Introduction to the ToC National Roadmap:
A presentation outlining the strategic roadmap for ToC’s further development. - Successful Implementation of the ToC Online Training System:
An update on the rollout of ToC’s innovative online learning platform.
The forum was jointly organized by the Mongolian Bankers Association, the Mongolian Sustainable Finance Development Association, and Trade and Development Bank (TDB)—recognized as the Best ToC Institution of 2016 and 2017 and the Leader in Sustainable Finance in 2018.
