On the occasion of "Bank Employees' Day," we extend our heartfelt congratulations to all past and present professionals, employees, and clients who have contributed to the development and strengthening of Mongolia's banking and financial sector.
Today marks the 98th anniversary of the establishment of the modern banking sector in Mongolia and the 31st anniversary of the introduction of the two-tier banking system. The sector currently employs over 16,000 professionals, including approximately 2,200 staff members from TDB Bank.
To celebrate this special day, TDB's top 20 employees for the first quarter of 2022 are departing from Chinggis Khaan International Airport for a trip to Vietnam. These employee recognition trips will continue each quarter, offering top performers opportunities to travel abroad. Last year, TDB rewarded its outstanding employees from 2021 with a trip to Dubai.
TDB remains committed to fostering a unified and inspired workforce, introducing and reinforcing TDB’s values among its employees, and creating a comfortable and collaborative work environment.
Health Initiatives
Every year, TDB provides employees with comprehensive health screening packages to promote their well-being and prevent illnesses. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the bank conducted over 16,000 rapid tests to safeguard its employees against potential risks.
Training and Development
Based on the bank's strategy and practical training needs, TDB regularly provides employees with domestic and international training opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge. The bank also offers scholarships for employees pursuing higher education at universities in Mongolia and abroad. Over the past year alone, TDB organized more than 300 training sessions across 28 categories, with participation exceeding 15,000 instances.
Recognition and Rewards
Each quarter, employees who lead their teams and contribute to increasing the bank’s profitability are recognized with industry awards, housing down payment assistance, and international trips as incentives.
Flexible Work Hours
As part of our vision to become an international and platform bank, TDB has introduced a "Flexible Working Hours" system for over 100 employees in the Information Technology Department. This initiative creates a conducive work environment, encourages free thinking, and enhances productivity.
Sports Activities
Every year, TDB organizes a “Sports Festival” featuring basketball, soccer, volleyball, archery, chess, table tennis, swimming, marathons, and e-sports. Approximately 550 employees actively participate in these events annually, promoting team spirit and physical fitness.
Mentorship Program
TDB implements a mentorship program to enhance the skills and capabilities of new and junior employees. This initiative allows experienced and professional bankers to share their knowledge and expertise, fostering both personal and professional development.
Employee Clubs
To bring employees with shared interests together, TDB runs five voluntary clubs within the organization. These clubs provide opportunities for employees to enjoy their leisure time meaningfully and engagingly with their colleagues.
As Mongolia’s oldest bank, TDB takes pride in being a trailblazer and role model in the banking sector. For over 30 years, we have led the way by introducing innovative, internationally benchmarked products and services, while excelling in corporate social responsibility, global partnerships, and human resource policies.
On this "Bank Employees' Day," we extend our warmest greetings to all past and present employees, officials, and clients who have contributed to the development and strengthening of Mongolia’s banking and financial systems.
