AROUND 4,400 CHILDREN JOIN THE “LIMITLESS DREAMS” PROJECT

17 September 2020

The Trade and Development Bank (TDB) continues to successfully implement the “Limitless Dreams” Project, aimed at creating a comfortable and nurturing learning environment for children to grow into healthy, knowledgeable, and well-rounded individuals.

This comprehensive child-focused initiative has already achieved significant milestones, including reducing infant mortality, protecting the educational rights of children with disabilities, and fostering a love of books in children. To date, the project has directly contributed to the education of approximately 71,500 students and 2,100 teachers across 42 schools.

In preparation for the 2020 academic year, TDB responded to the request of School No. 62 by renovating its library, enriching its book collection, and providing essential equipment. The newly upgraded library was officially handed over to the school’s administration during a special event today.

The opening ceremony featured a lecture by N. Baasandorj, a Meritorious Artist of Mongolia and honorary citizen of Ulaanbaatar, on the importance, benefits, and value of building a relationship with books.

In her remarks, School Principal Ms. Sarantuya expressed her gratitude, highlighting that the opening event for the 2020 phase of the project had begun with their school. She emphasized the project’s long-term goal of establishing 300 libraries nationwide and its positive impact on the knowledge and education of students and teachers alike.
