The Trade and Development Bank (TDB) is participating in SIBOS 2025, annual global financial services conference held in Frankfurt, Germany. During the conference, TDB is promoting Mongolia’s banking sector on the international stage, exchanging expertise, and expanding the global partnerships. As part of the conference, TDB signed a Memorandum of Understanding with AKTIF BANK of the Republic of Turkey to enhance its international trade finance operations.
Under this agreement, TDB will offer its clients the ability to open letters of credit, issue guarantees, and provide trade finance loans for transactions involving Turkey, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan.
TDB currently holds a dominant position in outbound international payments from Mongolia to Turkey, with over 50% market share.
