Trade and Development Bank of Mongolia has always been the pioneer in the financial market of Mongolia in introducing new financial products and services. This time the bank successfully introduced the Custodian services solution in the Mongolian capital market for the first time. The custodian services solution is the key to the development of the capital market of Mongolia enabling the path of investment fund establishments. The bank has implemented the installation of the new custody module with Diasoft firm, the leading financial software company in Russia. Hence, on 22nd May, 2015, TDB organized the ceremony for implementing an innovative and cutting edge custodian solution in the Mongolian capital market for the first time.
There were honorable guests from market participants and regulators, including Mongol Bank (Central bank of Mongolia), Financial Regulatory Commission, Mongolian Stock Exchange, Mongolian Central Depository, Mutual Funds, Investment Management Companies and Banking and Finance Academy of Mongolia.
Mongolian Stock Exchange was established in 1990, and it has been developed to offer competitive products and services ever since its establishment. In 2011, the State Property Committee of Mongolia has signed the long-term strategic partnership agreement with London Stock Exchange. Within this framework, TDB has chosen at first to make the clearing services for trades at the Exchange. Now, TDB is glad to announce that the bank is ready to offer comprehensive custodian services for domestic and international clients under the Financial Regulatory Commission’s License.
