Chess sports have a positive effect on intelligence and mental development OF kids when they are young. But in our country there are very few chess clubs that provide professional equipment by standards. Especially there are only a few Secondary Schools with a chess club available.
To this end, the TDB established a chess club for School 29 students with hearing impairments and opened today. School 29 is a comprehensive school for the Special Needed Education, the only school in the country where children with any disabilities attend.
While they cannot attend ordinary classroom education, their eagerness to develop their mind is supported by the Bank and this chess club is opened today.
In close cooperation with the experts and school teachers, we refurbished the clubhouse and bought standard student chess, electronic clocks, professional teaching aids, textbooks, chairs, tables, drawers, cabinets, and more.
TDB has continued to provide donations to children and the disabled, and will continue to provide them with the necessary support.
