In 2019, Mongolia and European Union are marking their 30 years of diplomatic relations and Mongolian European Chamber of Commerce has been officially opened in Mongolia this November. Mongolian European Chamber of Commerce will operate within the frame of the following four main directions:
1. To support FDI coming from EU to Mongolia.
2. To bring closer the European market to Mongolian business owners and consumers.
3. To become the bridge for business cooperation between Mongolia and Europe.
4. To bring value for its members.
In December 6, 2019, the chamber has organized a joint Christmas party for its member organizations at the Kempinski Hotel Khan Palace along with British Business Group, French-Mongolian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and German Mongolian Business Association.
Among the attendees of the party, which was approximately 150, were the Ambassadors to Mongolia from European Union, Federal Republic of Germany, France and United Kingdom, European and Mongolian entities and international organizations and delegates from the Mongolian government. Moreover, the Director of International and Corporate Relations Department, Ms. Erkhembayar B. along with other delegates from Trade and Development Bank have attended the event.
The party has started with a joint greeting from the Ambassador of European Union to Mongolia, Mr. Traian Hristea and presidents of European Chamber of Commerce and European Business Association. This is the second year of the party taking place, main purpose of which is to build and develop business and social relations.
The evening, that is filled with Christmas joy, allowed member organizations to create new business relations, enhance current partnerships and relations and discuss about their successes and challenges of 2019. We are confident that the cooperation between TDB and European Chamber of Commerce will assist the process of connecting Mongolian and European businesses together and intensifying economic relations between the two regions.
