“Euromoney Awards for Excellence Asia 2015”, where leading figures from banking and capital markets across Asia gather to hear the bests of the year, was organized in Hong Kong. At the awards ceremony, TDB was named “Best bank of Mongolia” for 2015 by Euromoney, the preeminent global financial markets magazine.
During the ceremony, Euromoney noted: “TDBM showed its class last year; issuing US dollar-denominated debt, pushing aggressively into new services and producing record profits. TDBM is also a broad church, lending to foreign corporates, local micro firms, wealthy individuals and low-income retail customers and plans to unveil bancassurance services this year. TDBM is described as ‘by far the country’s best commercial and corporate bank’ by a veteran foreign banker based in the country …”.
At the end of June 2015,TDBM's total assets reached MNT 5877.3 billion and total equity reached MNT 720.2 billion, representing 26.9% and 30.9% market shares respectively.
